It’s such a joy to highlight our incredible client, Kristen Zook. Kristen runs an e-commerce company with a line of brilliantly designed hammock stands—crafted for both camping adventures and sensory soothing. And let me tell you… her products (especially the HIVE Hammock stand) are seriously cool. I spent two hours on her site the first time I saw it.

But what really makes Kristen stand out is her tenacity. When she first came to us in December 2022, she and her business partner were exhausted trying to grow online sales. They had a great product, but online traction just wasn’t happening. Most of their revenue came from in-person sales, and Kristen knew something had to change if she was going to scale.

She’d tried to figure it out on her own—ads, emails, all the things—but nothing was clicking. That’s when she booked a call with our team. And wow, has her business transformed since then.

The Strategy:

Our first priority was to launch Kristen’s product online in a big way—and we started with a Kickstarter campaign.

Kristen already had a unique, high-ticket product with serious market potential. But the challenge? They needed a strategy that would actually work to get in front of aligned customers and convert them.

We kicked things off with a 10-day awareness campaign followed by a full Kickstarter strategy. The goal was $20K in funding… and we crushed it. Within the first 30 minutes, the campaign hit $71K. By the end of day one, we’d hit $88K. And by the time it closed? $144,792 raised—with just $3,296.88 in ad spend. That’s a jaw-dropping 84.9x ROAS.

From there, we created a long-term plan to help Kristen scale. Her products aren’t available year-round—she does 2–3 big product drops a year—so we had to build smart between launches.

Here’s what we did next:

Visibility Ads: We got 10,471 people watching her videos for just $0.005/view. This helped us define her ideal audience.

Lead Generation Funnels: We launched two lead magnet campaigns that brought in 765 warm leads at $1.80–$1.90/lead.

List Building + Engagement: Even when she wasn’t selling, we grew and nurtured her audience with strategic content.

Sales Campaigns: When it was time to sell? We launched with a powerful one-two punch—retargeting campaigns for her $120 camp chairs and $1,199 HIVE Hammock Stand.

The Results:

Kristen’s sales campaign absolutely soared—delivering a 4.13x ROAS in just two weeks. And if you zoom out across all campaigns? We spent $2,500 and brought in $4,300, resulting in a 1.70x total ROAS.

The standout winner was the lightweight camp chair offer, which drove a 5.94x ROAS and brought in over $2.7K in revenue.

This wasn’t just a short-term win. Kristen’s marketing foundation is rock solid now. Her list is full of engaged, aligned leads. Her messaging is dialed. And she has a proven funnel that she can confidently run again and again.
